Student Education Fund
The Student Education Fund was created by the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants, its Charter stating among its purposes that it is to "aid, promote, develop and advance education and research relating to the study, teaching and practice of accountancy and related allied fields.” The Student Education Fund is principally committed to making scholarships primarily to Arkansas students attending four year colleges and universities in Arkansas.
Scholarship Program
Each year the Student Education Fund awards scholarships to qualifying accounting majors attending four-year colleges and universities in Arkansas. Student Education Fund Scholarships are based on the nominations by the Head of the Accounting Department of qualifying universities. Students must be nominated before they can apply. Applications without nominations are not considered qualified for scholarships purposes. If you have specific questions, please email Robin Harris at the Society Office at rharris@arcpa.org or call 501-664-8739.
Support the Future of Accounting
The Student Education Fund is supported entirely by contributions. It is a 501(c)(3)non-profit corporation, and gifts to the Student Education Fund are tax deductible. Securities and any other property, as well as cash, may be contributed.
