Cale Whittington
Cale holds the position of EY Americas Assurance Digital Leader. With a robust digital skill set and more than 29 years of audit expertise, combined with a visionary and collaborative approach, Cale oversees a network of over 300 professionals who support audit teams and clients through their digital transformation processes. Additionally, he is involved in EY’s Global Assurance transformation initiatives, contributing to the design, development, and implementation of next-generation technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, throughout the Americas.
As a partner in the EY Phoenix office, Cale possesses extensive industry experience, serving both global and domestic companies of varying sizes—from large multinational public firms to private-equity-owned portfolio companies, as well as mid-sized privately-held businesses. His diverse industry background spans transportation, manufacturing, aerospace and defense, technology, waste and recycling, and retail and consumer products.
Cale actively participates in numerous professional networks, promoting a sense of belonging and purpose within EY and the broader business community. He previously led the EY Ripples community engagement task force for the Phoenix office, has held board positions with the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce and Junior Achievement, and engages in various volunteer activities and events.
Cale graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He is a CPA licensed in Arizona, Texas, and Arkansas, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In his personal life, Cale enjoys spending time with his wife, Katherine, and their three adult children, as well as engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, and camping.
