Jaycob is a Trust Officer in Retirement Plan Services at First National Bank of Fort Smith. Previously, he worked with military service members and federal employees to educate them on their retirement plan benefits. Jaycob also spent time with an independent advisory firm that serves a niche market in the retirement plan industry. Jaycob graduated from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and obtained his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) education from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado.

Gerardo Velez is a Senior Investigator in the Dallas Regional Office of the U.S. Department of Labor, Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA). He has been with EBSA since 2013. Mr. Velez conducts complex civil and criminal investigations of private-sector pension plans, health care plans, and other employee benefit plans. Before joining the U.S. Department of Labor, Gerardo worked at one of the “Big 4” accounting firms as a consultant in regulatory compliance and tax related matters. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a Major in Accounting from the University of Puerto Rico, and an MBA from the University of New Orleans. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS).
David M. Graf concentrates his practice on the design, implementation, maintenance and administration of tax-qualified retirement plans (including defined benefit pension plans, profit sharing plans, 401(k) plans and ESOPs), nonqualified deferred compensation plans, and welfare benefit plans for financial institutions, regular business organizations, professional corporations, and governmental and non-profit organizations. He assists plan sponsors and fiduciaries with regulatory compliance with ERISA, state and federal tax issues, and with local legislation affecting retirement and welfare plans. In addition, he acts as counsel to plan sponsors, fiduciaries and participants with respect to ERISA controversies and litigation. Dave has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Employee Benefits (ERISA) Law since 2010 and was named Employee Benefits (ERISA) "Lawyer of the Year" in Little Rock in 2019 and 2015. When Dave is not practicing law, he serves as the current Mayor for Cammack Village. As the Mayor, Dave was instrumental in creating an urban service district as approved by the voters of Cammack Village of which the proceeds have been used to assist in providing much needed governmental services and amenities.
A determined and intellectual professional, Mark chose to pursue a career in accounting because he has always loved the challenge of fixing problems and working with numbers. He attributes his career success to a combination of hard work and continuous pursuit of learning. Mark prides himself on having learned from his own failure. In high school, Mark did not meet his sports scholarship goals due to injuries, which caused him to vow to never again take success for granted and to always maintain a strong work ethic.
Raised in Stuttgart, Arkansas, Mark met his wife, Brooke, in high school. They now live together in Little Rock with their two daughters, Addison and Harper. Mark likes the area for its natural beauty and abundance of parks and hiking trails. In his free time, he can usually be found golfing, hunting, or engaged in other outdoor pursuits.

Jill has over 15 years of experience in providing audit and accounting services to clients in the employee benefit plan industry. She graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2004 with a B.S.B.A. degree in Accounting and Finance. Jill accumulated most of her experience working for a regional accounting firm before joining Pierce Firm, PLLC in 2019. While working with the regional firm, Jill managed approximately 200 annual benefit plan audits and served as a member of the Employee Benefit Plan Leadership Team. In addition to plan audits, Jill also assists with Form 5500 preparation and late filings through the DOL Delinquent Filer Voluntary Compliance Program (DFVCP). She monitors industry developments and maintains relationships with regulatory agencies and industry leaders. Jill is a member of the AICPA. She is a presenter at various conferences including annual AICPA National Conference of Employee Benefit Plans. Jill is also a member of the Arkansas State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
