Stephanie F. Watson, Ph.D., CPA, has been on the faculty of the University of Central Arkansas Accounting Department since 2003. She currently serves as the department's chairperson. Stephanie has taught Accounting Information Systems, Cost Accounting, Principles of Accounting, and Accounting Case Studies. Stephanie is also involved in Curriculum and Assessment, has co-authored a textbook, and has been published in the Journal of Accounting Education, The CPA Journal, and Oil, Gas, and Energy Quarterly, among others. Stephanie has been honored with the ASCPA Distinguished Achievement in Accounting Education, Outstanding Beta Alpha Psi Advisor, and service and teaching awards from UCA's College of Business. She received a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D., all in accounting from Louisiana State University. Prior to graduate school, Stephanie worked in corporate accounting for seven years.
Andrew D. Almand, PhD, CPA is the Donald R. Dodson Assistant Professor of Accounting at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Andy graduated from Henderson State in 2002 with a Bachelor of Administration in Accounting and in 2003 with a Master of Business Administration. In August 2016, he graduated with a PhD in Accountancy from the University of Mississippi. While pursuing the master’s degree, Andy interned at Spann and Associates, Ltd. in Hot Springs, Arkansas; he joined the firm as a full-time staff accountant following the completion of his degree and passed the CPA exam in November 2003. During his time in public accounting, Andy worked in both attestation services and tax services for various industries and was promoted to senior accountant. In August 2008, Andy left Spann and Associates to pursue a career in academics at Henderson State University. While at Henderson, Andy taught several accounting courses and was very involved with student organizations. In 2012, Andy moved to Oxford, Mississippi to pursue a PhD in Accountancy at the University of Mississippi. He has now rejoined Henderson’s faculty after completing the PhD. Andy’s areas of research interest primarily related to tax issues, but he also has interests in financial accounting research. His research has been published in Taxes: The Tax Magazine, State Tax Notes, and the Journal of Information Systems Technology and Planning. Andy teaches courses in tax and financial accounting about the undergraduate and graduate levels. Andy married his wife, Jennifer, in December 2003. They live in Arkadelphia with their three children, Madilyn, age 9; Micah, age 6; and Matthew, age 3. Andy and his family are active members in Park Hill Baptist Church in Arkadelphia. In his spare time, Andy enjoys spending time with his family, reading, making music, and kayaking.
Brian Ettehad is a CPA with extensive experience providing assurance services in a variety of industries including manufacturing, agribusiness, real estate, construction securities and exchange commission filings and compliance, governmental and nonprofit organizations. Brian currently serves as an engagement partner for audits of several non-profits and governmental organizations at FROST, PLLC

Randy Zook is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce and the Associated Industries of Arkansas.
A few of his accomplishments during his tenure include strengthening the brand of the State Chamber, increasing membership, leading two successful statewide initiatives and refocusing attention on the workforce development system in the state.
Prior to taking the helm of the State Chamber/AIA, Randy was the Deputy Director of Administration and Finance for the Arkansas Economic Development Commission.
For 34 years, he worked for Atlantic Envelope Company of Atlanta, Georgia, a $200-million, manufacturer of custom printed envelopes and business products. He served as President and CEO of the company from 1989 to 2004.
He is currently serving on the boards of KIPP Schools in Helena-West-Helena, Economics Arkansas and McGehee Farm & Real Estate Co.
In January 2020, Randy was named along with 24 other leading Arkansans to Arkansas Money & Politics’ First Class of Arkansas Influencers of the Year.
He and his wife, Diane, have three grown children and five above-average grandchildren.
Tim Montgomery, CPA, CISA, is an investigator with the Arkansas State Board of Public Accountancy. He graduated from the University of Houston – Downtown with a BBA in Accounting in 1992 and passed the CPA exam in 1993. Throughout his career, Tim has been the Internal Auditor for USAble Life in Little Rock, Accounting Manager for Airborne Nacelle Services in Hot Springs and Comptroller for a supply company in Pencil Bluff. He has also spent time as an Internal Audit and SOX Compliance Consultant. Before moving back to Arkansas in 2013, Tim was the Internal Audit Director for Dyersburg State Community College in Dyersburg, Tennessee. He lives in Cabot, AR with his wife Charlotte and they have four children, ages 24, 22, 18, and 8.
Joseph Sanford is President and CEO of Sanford & Company, P.A. located in Fort Smith, Arkansas. While involved in all aspects of the firm, he focuses his efforts in estate planning, litigation support, management consulting, and technology consulting. He also frequently serves as a moderator for various tax, accounting, technology, and ethics continuing education seminars for CPAs. Sanford received his BSBA from the University of Arkansas with a major in accounting and a minor in computer sciences in 1977. Sanford has been a practicing accountant since 1977. Prior to establishing his own firm, he worked as a manager at a large local CPA firm, which was merged with a much larger regional firm. This provided the catalyst for him to establish his own firm, Sanford & Company, P.A., in 1988. He is a member of the AICPA and the Arkansas Society of CPAs (ASCPA), the chair of the ASCPA Continuing Education Committee, past chair of the ASCPA Ethics Committee, and past chair of the ASCPA Quality Review Committee. He is also a member and past president of the Western Arkansas Estate Planning Council, past vice president of ASCPA, and past president of the Western Chapter of the ASCPA. Sanford is a frequent speaker at CPE seminars and conferences and received the ASCPA Discussion Leader of the Year Award for 2012 and 2017.

Jeremiah D. Wood practices in the firm’s Employee Benefits Practice Group. His practice includes experience in the design, implementation, administration and termination of tax-qualified retirement plans (including traditional pension plans, cash balance plans, profit sharing plans, 401(k) plans, and ESOPs), 403(b) plans, nonqualified deferred compensation plans (including 457(b) and 457(f) plans and deferral compensation arrangements for executives) and health and welfare plans. He works for a variety of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, local and regional financial institutions, privately held business organizations, professional corporations, governmental organizations and non-profit organizations.
Jeremiah assists his clients (as plan sponsors and fiduciaries) with regulatory compliance related to the Internal Revenue Code, ERISA and HIPAA as well as with state and local tax issues (including recent legislation) affecting retirement and welfare plans. In addition, he acts as counsel for his clients with respect to ERISA controversies and litigation and he regularly handles matters that involve correcting errors using the Internal Revenue Service Employee Plans Compliance Resolution System (EPCRS) and the Department of Labor Voluntary Fiduciary Correction Program. He also assists his clients with audits of qualified plans by the Internal Revenue Service and investigations of qualified plans by the Department of Labor.
