DeGray Lake Resort State Park Event

You asked for it…and here it is!  Our first “Family-Friendly” Young CPAs social event of the year!  Thanks to your input, we have scheduled a full day of “Fun in the Sun” at the Lake DeGray State Park Resort. 

We have Pavilion #2 reserved along with a Party-barge for the whole day, Saturday, August 23, 2008.  This includes food, snacks, soft drinks, etc.  Liquor will not be furnished; however, you are more than welcome to bring your own. 

Other activities include: walking trails, hiking, tennis, basketball, golf, fishing, biking, etc. 

Park interpreters provide nature and recreational programs year-round, such as guided hikes and lake cruises, kayak tours, island snorkeling, guided horseback riding, plus evening slide shows at the park’s outdoor amphitheater.  To find out more information you can contact (501) 865-2807 or visit www.degray.com .

Facilities:  Free boat launch ramp, if you would like to bring your own, or you can rent fishing boats, canoes, and jet skis there at the marina,  (at your own expense) sandy swimming beach, picnic site pavilion with tables and grills, rest rooms, and a playground for all ages – all within feet of our reserved pavilion.  Lodging, restaurant, pro-shop, laundry, barrier-free campsites and bathhouses are also available.  To find out more information you can contact (501) 865-2811 or visit www.degray.com.

Register you and your family for this fun filled event.  The cost is a non-perishable food item, which will be donated to the Arkansas Food Bank.  You can register on-line at www.arcpa.org , call us at 501-664-8739 or fax us at 501-664-8320, please include the names of each person that will be attending.

Life jackets, life-preservers, life-vests, and lawn chairs will not be furnished, so please bring your own.
