Student Interview Day!

The
Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants is seeking businesses
interested in participating in a Student Interview Day to be held
October 27, 2008, at the Arkansas Society of CPAs Conference Center in
Little Rock,
Arkansas.
The
event will begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at approximately 4:30 p.m. Each
business attending the event will conduct a series of formal interviews
with students with ten-minute intervals between interviews for notes,
etc. The length of the interview will be determined by the number of
participants.
Only
students with at least a 3.0 grade point average (both overall and in
accounting courses) who will graduate by May, 2009, are eligible to
participate. A maximum of ten students per school may attend. A list
of participating businesses will be provided to students with
registration materials when school convenes after September, 2008.
Students will be asked to submit a resume and coversheet to the Society
in advance of the event, and may list the participating employers with
whom they would like to interview. Once received, the Society will
forward the students’ materials to the businesses with a preference form
to indicate the students they wish to interview.
Please indicate on the below form if your business is interested in
participating in the ASCPA Student Interview Day, and include the
contact information from your business and the name of the person
attending, who will be conducting the interviews. Please return the
form to the Arkansas Society of CPAs no later than
August
25, 2008, so that we can finalize
arrangements.
