Emerging CPAs Committee
Beginning January 1, 2011, the Young CPAs Committee became the Emerging CPAs Committee. This Committee will include all CPAs that are 40 years of age or younger and/or anyone that has passed the CPA exam within the past ten years. These enthusiastic members are willing to take on leadership roles to lead the profession in this state in a variety of ways. This committee will plan and conduct the 2nd Annual ASCPA Young CPAs Conference, along with other Emerging CPAs functions througout the year. This year, the Emerging CPAs Committee's goal is to recruit membership and develop future leaders of the Arkansas Society of CPAs through the coordination of professional development and networking events.
By being a part of an ASCPA Committee, it will help you to become more engaged in the profession and will help you connect to resources and tools to enrich and support your career.
Young and new CPAs are in a great position to make a real difference in business, as well as in the work of the profession.
The ASCPA is always looking for Emerging CPAs that possess leadership skills to join and become active within one or more of the ASCPA Committees. For information on other ASCPA Committees, see main menu on home page.
